 This waterstone is 6" long. We use it to flatten the Norton Waterstone. It has other sharpening purposes.
To flatten the Norton stone, rub in in a figure 8 configuration over the stone under running water until the swarf is removed from the Norton Stone. Be sure to dry it completely before returning your DMT stone to it's case.
