Turn the bender over for a unique cylinder rods that create various size gaps to allow blade bending, set and realignment. Since the blade is not hitting against a hard angled surface, there is less chance of a blade snapping or marring the surface.

Check the alignment with the flat bar section that has been carefully milled to give you a consistent surface to check the set on the shears.
